Greetings!

When Lapuyan adopted its mission, “We, Lapuyanons, are committed to adhere to participatory, responsive accountable local governnance that will promote moral, sustainable socio-economic development and judicious utilization of natural and human resources that will serve the basic needs of our community”, it was because of the enviable advantage the municipality has in terms of agricultural land, marine resources, geographical location and eco-tourist spots.

Lapuyan is a progressive culture friendly municipality. It is home to the proud peaceful, hospitable and united Lapuyanons. The Municipality now is on its endeavor to achieve improved local governance through the legacy from the KALAHI – CIDSS of the DSWD – Participatory, Transparency and Accountability, which I declared as my flagship program of this term entrusted to me by the community.

With www.lapuyan.gov.ph the committed men and women in the local government unit of Lapuyan may also be able to showcase our good governance through the  principles of participartory, transparency and accountabillity.

This site is one of the mechanism I shall pursue to acquire more participation from the different world, wider and greater transparency, and effective and responsive accountability which will absolutely pave the way towards building stronger foundation of my sustained and soon to be institutionalized practiced of an effective local governance.
